What our numbers mean—and what they do not.
What we track
DLEDB tracks a selected dataset of websites that host daily games. One exact hostname is one record. Pages on the same hostname are combined; different subdomains remain separate records. This is a curated dataset, not a claim to cover every daily game on the web.
Visits and ranking
Visits are third-party estimates for the entire hostname, not a measure of visits to an individual daily game or page. The monthly ranking sorts positive estimated visits from highest to lowest, with hostname as the tie-breaker. Large multi-purpose websites are included; there is no 100-million-visit cutoff.
Growth and movement
Growth compares a site's estimated visits with the previous month when both values are available and the previous value is above zero. “Fastest Growing” requires at least 10,000 estimated previous-month visits to reduce small-base noise. Rank change compares the site's position in consecutive months. A dash means the comparison is unavailable or unchanged.
New & Rising
This label means a website has a positive-traffic rank this month and no positive-traffic rank in the previous month. It does not establish that the game or website was newly launched.
Categories and collections
Categories are the union of labels attached to games on a hostname. A site can appear in more than one category, and its total visits are not allocated to individual categories. Collections are hand-selected editorial groupings, separate from natural rankings.
Update schedule and missing values
DLEDB is updated monthly with the previous month's data; it is not real-time. A zero visit value differs from unavailable data. Neither receives a positive-traffic rank. Available editions: April 2026, May 2026, June 2026, July 2026, August 2026.
Submissions and sponsorship
Submitting a site is free and does not guarantee inclusion. Natural rankings are determined by the published method. Any future sponsored placements will be clearly labeled and kept separate from natural ranks.
